La Isla Resort, Caye Caulker

Leaving Footprints In Paradise

Belize is home to Culture, Adventure, Nature, Wildlife, Aquatic experiences, and most of all the warmth and caring people you meet while traveling in Belize.  La Isla Resort is located on a beautiful island called Caye Caulker.

Caye Caulker is thought to have been inhabited for hundreds of years, however, the recent population levels did not start until the Caste War of Yucatan in 1847, when many mestizos of mixed Maya and Spanish descent fled the massacres taking place across the Yucatán. With all its rich history and very cultured community spirit, it is by nature you will connect with a local from the island. They tend to share their experiences of snorkeling, fishing, feeding the tarpons, kayaking, paddle boarding, sailing, and for sure, you will be directed to the Split for a day of fun in the sun.

La Isla Resort sits in the center of the main street in Caye Caulker boasting twenty-six rooms of different categories. The regeneration of La Isla Resort has made an impact on your experience while traveling to Belize. The focus of La Isla Resort is to ensure that all guests expectations are over exceeded and to ensure that they “Leave Footprints in Paradise”!

Cake Caulker, Belize

Leaving Foot Prints In Paradise

Caye Caulker Island, situated 21 miles northeast of Belize City and 11 miles south of Ambergris Caye, is the second major of the Belizean Caye. The island is about 4 miles long, but the town is only about a mile long. Like Ambergris Caye, Caye Caulker was primarily a fishing community, but its economy has become progressively tourism-based.

Caye Caulker is a prevalent destination for scuba divers, snorkelers, and tourists who just want beach-oriented relaxation. Although in the past it was a sleepy fishing community, this fun affectionate isle is today known more for its festivity and nightlife.

Caye Caulker, Belize is the home of La Isla Resort with top-notch service but keeping the Islander Lifestyles of “take it easy”!
